🇺🇸🎾 WHO’S ROOTING FOR BEN SHELTON TODAY?! 🎾🇺🇸

American Ben Shelton is playing for the US Open Men’s Singles Championship today! 🏆

We especially LOVE his college tennis roots — Shelton played for the University of Florida Gators 🐊 and was the 2022 NCAA Singles Champion before making the jump to the pros.

Now he’s playing in his first Grand Slam final, with a chance to become the first American man to win a Grand Slam singles title since Andy Roddick in 2003! 🇺🇸🔥 (US Open⁠)

From NCAA Champion to the US OPEN FINAL! What an awesome example for our high school players of where college tennis can take you!

Our #1 Boys Doubles team of Eric Ormsby & Hudson Taylor wrapped up their State Championship run in the Quarterfinals.

Falling 7–6 (9–7), 6–3 to the #1 seed, pushing them to a razor-thin first-set tiebreaker and showed exactly what Gulf Breeze Tennis is about grit, composure, and competing with the best in the state. They showed just how close they are right there with the top teams in Florida. They proved they belong on that stage.

Standard set. Future is strong 💪🏽🐬🎾

Thank you Gulf Breeze News for covering our Regional Semifinals last night! We appreciate the support and spotlight on our Dolphins! 🐬🎾

GBHS' Josh Gross (right) congratulates Leon's Jack Winsor after Gross' 6-2, 6-2 win clinched a 4-0 win in a Region 1-3A Semifinal today at GBHS.
The undefeated Dolphins will either host Niceville or play at Chiles in the regional final Thursday. Look for a recap in the April 30 edition
