The HOMECOMING DANCE will be Friday, September 25th. We (myself, AD’s, coaches and administrators) tried to work around every coaches schedule, tryouts, band competitions, community events, etc. and there were no dates that didn’t have a conflict on a Saturday. A Saturday allowed the students time to get ready, appts, etc. However, we have decided to move the dance to Friday, September 25th to accommodate all school and community events. We are sorry for the inconvenience or issues this may have caused to anyone with the original day of the dance. The dance will be from 6:30-9:00 on the 25th. Parents may stay from 6:30-6:55 for pictures. Tickets are 20.00. 🪩❤️🏈

An updated volleyball schedule will be posted this afternoon, but the volleyball tournament for Saturday the 26th has been cancelled so there are no further conflicts on that day due to community events. Our JH will be moved to another day. Thanks for supporting MC volleyball. Go Big Red!

What a FULL day at the Smith Lake Classic in Curry! ❤️🏐

Our girls finished the day 2–4 against some really great competition, taking on Orange Beach, Haleyville, Addison, Oakman, Cordova, and Carbon Hill. Every match was competitive and close, and I was proud of the way our girls hustled, played together, and continued to fight against some really good volleyball teams!

Most of these girls didn’t get home from the football game Friday night until after midnight. They turned around and played their first match at 9:30 Saturday morning and didn’t finish their last match until 10:00 Saturday night! They were exhausted, but they kept pushing, competing, and growing together as a team. ❤️ by the end of the night they may have been a little delirious haha!

It’s only Day 2 of our season, and we know we have plenty of work to do, but I’m excited to see what this group can accomplish! There is so much potential, and days like this are only going to make us better.

A HUGE thank you to all of our fans who spent the entire day cheering us on! We were also excited to have so many of our football players there supporting the girls. These kids all together are so much fun! 😂❤️😂

Next up ➡️ Tuesday night at Russellville as we take on two really good Russellville and Deshler squads. Time to get back to work!
