The EPA has cleared Cooper Creek at Twin Oaks Park for water activities! If you want to get in some extra splashes before summer ends, feel free! Have fun and be safe! Any further updates will be posted here. If any signage remains at the park, it will be removed within the next week. Water is open.

There was a big wreck on I22 today near Twin, and hazmat crews were on the scene. There are now reports of dead fish in the creek at the park, and the water unsuitable for swimming and activities in the creek. Please see new post on this page with a link to the Marion County Emergency Management statement. Please stay out of the creek.

During the past few weeks, the Twin park has been vandalized a number of times. The bathrooms have been trashed, a car has done donuts in the grass, and this morning a heavy concrete bench was knocked over. We are now going to install security cameras to catch any offenders. If caught, they will be prosecuted! We want to have a nice place where people can enjoy their time!
