It takes courage to dream but it takes something even greater to step onto a stage in front of thousands and chase that dream.
Maggie came up short today, but moments like this are never wasted. She gained valuable experience, learned what it feels like to compete under the brightest lights, and proved that she belongs on that stage.
Today’s result does not define Maggie. Her courage to show up, put herself on the line, and keep moving forward does.
Keep dreaming. Keep working. Keep believing. This is only the beginning, Maggie and we couldn’t be more proud of you!

I couldn’t be more excited about the progress these kids are making and the new additions to our competition team!
Over the years, as kids grow up or find other interests, you have to rebuild the kids competition squad. It's awesome to see some of those former kids who found success come back and help build the next generation.

It takes time to develop your personal game in Jiu Jitsu and build the grit it takes to get out there and put it on the line. There are tough rounds, mistakes, and frustrating nights along the way. Seeing these kids keep showing up, working through challenges, and gaining confidence makes me proud.

They’re learning to stay calm under pressure, trust what they’ve practiced, and keep working when things aren’t going their way. Watching those lessons come together while their teammates push and encourage them is one of my favorite parts of coaching.

This group is well on their way, and I can’t wait to see them put their hard work to the test! 💪
