Construction of the New Eel-Russian Facility is planned to occur at the same time as dam removal, minimizing disruptions to water diversions and reducing impacts to the Eel River.

Once complete, the new facility will continue seasonal water diversions to the Russian River while supporting a healthier Eel River ecosystem.
