It's another successful Fall Fest in the books! A huge THANK YOU goes out to all the local club volunteers, drivers, and fans that make this event possible! I would also like to thank the Grygla Fire Department & First Responders, Holthusen Construction, Cenex Farmers Union, and JP Sweet for the great job announcing! Last but not least I would like to thank Jon Erickson & crew for all the help! It takes an army to make this event possible and can't thank everyone enough! Hope to see everyone again next year!

***** 2025 Bush Race Rules *****

Saturday August 23rd @ 4 PM
Registration from 1-3pm
The 6 Classes will be:
1.) 4 cylinder FWD
2.) 6 & 8 cylinder FWD
3.) any RWD
4.) 4x4/AWD Trucks/Cars/SUV
5.) Powder puff * women only - FWD vehicles - race following the Truck class feature - Women drivers can also register in another class that their car qualifies for. Just pay the extra $25 fee
6.) Youth Class (ages 12-15) - car or mini van only - call with?
If time allows and enough interest we will also have a 1 heat Demo after all races for interested drivers. (Vehicle must have raced earlier in day)
**** Rules ****
[ ] A 2 or 4 Point Roll Cage is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but optional for cars. All trucks/SUVs must have a minimum 2-point roll cage. 2-point cage must be bolted or welded to the floor and ceiling of vehicle. 3-4pt must be bolted or welded at cage bases.
[ ] Drivers door reinforcement HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but not required.
[ ] Glass may be left in but must be secure. Mini vans MUST have all glass other than windshield removed before entering event grounds.
[ ] Must have working seat belts with shoulder strap, Header Allowed. Helmets and eye protection are mandatory.
[ ] Vehicles MUST have working breaks.
Sunroofs must be covered with with sheet metal and properly secured
[ ] Vehicles MUST enter pits through the North East gate of event grounds - follow signs. Inspection and registration will take place upon entry. Inspection will be open 1-3 pm on day of event. Drivers meeting at approx. 3:15pm. Racing starts at 4pm.
[ ] Air bags removed
[ ] No driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be allowed to participate.
[ ] No Weight may be added to the vehicle. No trailer hitches allowed.
[ ] All race trucks must have front and rear bumper within 24” off the ground.
[ ] Drivers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present at registration.
[ ] No one under the age of 12 allowed in the pit area
[ ] In the event of an accident all drivers and pit persons are to move away from the scene to allow First Responders room to perform their duties.
[ ] Vehicles with rear wheel drive MUST have mud flaps that extend to the ground
[ ] Vehicles MUST have standard DOT approved tires.
[ ] Slogans, advertising, and printing may be placed on vehicles. The vehicle number MUST be printed on both sides of the vehicle and MUST have a sign on the roof. No profanity allowed on the vehicle. (This is a family friendly event).
Vehicles MUST be removed within 24 hours following the conclusion of the event or it becomes property of the Grygla Bush Race and Demo Committee.
Trophies for 1st-3rd each class + Payout- to be determined
Entry fee $25 per vehicle & driver. Pit passes are $20

We would like to try pre-registration this year. Please text or email Gretchen at 218-289-2947 or [email protected] to pre-register. Provide your name, vehicle class, car number and sponsors.

We will collect payment at the pit gate:
- $25/entry
- $20/additional pit pass

We will also be taking registrations from 1 - 3 pm on Saturday, August 24th.

Due to unforeseen circumstances River’s Edge Petting Zoo has cancelled on us. In such short notice we were unable to fill the spot.

Softball start time has been changed to 10:00 am both Saturday and Sunday.
