Northeast Oklahoma Hunting & Fishing Club - Purpose: to recruit more hunters and fishermen through teaching and mentorship.

Myself (Oklahoma Game Warden Marni Loftis) and my partner (Oklahoma Game Warden Cody Morris) are starting a hunting and fishing club for northeast Oklahoma. We want to share our love for the outdoors with others who may have interest in becoming a sportsman or sportswoman but have no idea where to start or just want to learn more techniques for a particular hunting or fishing activity. Come and join us for one event or come and join us for as many as you can.

We will schedule events throughout the year to teach and mentor people, young and old, about hunting and fishing. We plan to have hands on classes covering field dressing game, shooting, archery and learning to judge distance, how to put up a tree stand/ tree stand safety, first aid/survival, how to deer hunt, how to turkey hunt (including how to call turkeys), how to hunt waterfowl (including how to call waterfowl), how to call and hunt predators, trapping how to's and techniques, and pond fishing derbies- how to tie/ bait hooks followed by a fish fry while learning how to clean and fry the fish. We will have guest speakers occasionally to demonstrate things such as rabbit hunting with beagles, c**n hunting with hounds, blood tracking hounds, training retrievers for waterfowl, and many other topics.
