Keeping the stories, traditions, and heritage of fishing alive!

Dad wanted to jump on and help spread the word about something pretty special coming up this September.

Dwayne Allen will be sharing the heritage and stories behind the art of fly tying and fly fishing — the kind of knowledge and tradition that deserves to be passed down, shared, and kept alive for the next generation.

This is a chance to come by, listen to the stories, learn a little about the art and history behind it all, and maybe even discover a new hobby along the way!

And if it sparks your interest, you’ll also be able to sign up for upcoming fly tying and fly fishing classes while you’re there.

Happy Labor Day from our family at Grand Lake Sports Center!

Today, before anything else, we simply want to say thank you.

For generations, our family has been blessed to serve the Grand Lake community, and we never want to take that privilege for granted.

Every person who walks through our doors, recommends us to a friend, stops in just to say hello, or chooses to spend their hard-earned money with us plays a part in allowing our family to continue doing what we love. We are genuinely grateful.

We’re also thankful for the many hardworking people and locally owned businesses throughout our community. It takes a lot of early mornings, late nights, sacrifices, determination, and faith to keep a business going and a community thriving. Today is a good day to recognize all of those hardworking hands.

God has blessed our family and Grand Lake Sports Center in more ways than we could ever count, and we know that so many of those blessings have come through the wonderful people He has placed in our path.

Our prayer this Labor Day is that God blesses the hands that work, the families they provide for, the businesses they build, and this beautiful community we all get to call home. ❤️
