Tango L smashed the all-age trotting track record to highlight the 16-race card on the first day of the Hardin County Fair meet in Kenton, Ohio, on Wednesday (Sept. 9). The 3-year-old Ready For Moni filly won race 13 in 1:57, besting the prior mark of 2:00.1 set by Sweet Harmony in 2024. Trainer Hank LeVan drove Tango L for owners LeVan Stables, Rosemary LeVan, Megan LeVan, and Robert Wehner.

Earlier in the card, Rose Run Billie equaled Sweet Harmony’s track record, winning race four in 2:00.1 with Ken Holliday driving for trainer Mark Winters. Mama Drama bested that three races later, winning in 2:00 with trainer Jeff Nisonger in the sulky.

Seaside Masquerade recorded the fastest mile of the card, winning race six in 1:56.2. Alex Hawk drove the 2-year-old Downbytheseaside filly pacer for trainer Randy Smith and owner Amelia Smith.

Big Daddy Ralph won the Free For All Pace in 1:58.4 with Cameron McCown driving for owner and trainer Courtney Makin.

Nisonger led all drivers in the card with five wins followed by LeVan, McCown, Ronnie Gillespie, and Austin Hanners with two each. Winters was the top trainer with four victories followed by LeVan and Todd Luther with two each.

The Hardin County Fair meet concludes Thursday (Sept. 10) with a 13-race card starting at 5 p.m. The races will be live streamed on the OHHA YouTube channel.

Macmorris Hanover smashed the all-age trotting track record to highlight the 15-race card on the final day of the Fulton County Fair meet in Wauseon, Ohio, on Tuesday (Sept. 8). The 10-year-old Cantab Hall gelding won the Signature Series Earl Hallett Memorial Trot in 1:56.2, besting the prior mark of 1:58.1 held by Rompaway Beau (2009) and Herecomescharlie B (2025). Marc St. Louis Jr. drove for trainer Stacey Currie, who co-owns Macmorris Hanover with Stephen Bateson. This marks the third all-age trotting track record Macmorris Hanover has broken at Ohio fairs this year, joining those at Napoleon (1:59.3) and Wellington (1:58).

St. Louis Jr. joined Emanuel Miller, Kim Pluta, Ryan Stahl, and Sam Widger in leading the way with two driving wins in the card. Rosy Weaver was the top trainer in the card with three wins followed by Pluta, Stahl, and Herman Hagerman with two each.

Blood Queen recorded the fastest mile of the 15-race card to highlight the final day of the Van Wert County Fair meet in Van Wert, Ohio, on Monday (Sept. 7). The 3-year-old Downbytheseaside filly won the opening race in 1:59.3 with Jason Beattie in the sulky for trainer Ryan Miller and owners Miller Racing Stable, Redracer, and Melinda Hayes.

Lauren Harmon, Lorie Davis, and Krista Harmon recorded victories in the Spring Haven Farm Ladies Driving Series races.

Lauren Harmon drove Fix Ur Makeup to victory in the first division of the Spring Haven Farm Ladies Driving Series Pace in 2:00.4. The 6-year-old Jk Endofanera mare is owned and trained by Krista Harmon.

Krista Harmon was the winning driver in the second division, guiding P**f Daddy to the win in 2:03.2. She trains the 11-year-old Woodstock gelding and is co-owner with Rylee Harmon.

Davis won the Spring Haven Farm Ladies Driving Series Trot with KJ Todd in 2:04.3. The 6-year-old Trixton gelding is trained by Herman Hagerman for owner Hagerman Racing.

Pierce Henry led all drivers in the card with three wins followed by Beattie, Chad Clark, and Koltin Noble with two each. Krista Harmon, Hagerman, and Joe Paver were the top trainers with two wins apiece.
