Grove City Dawgs Gridiron Club The purpose of the Gridiron Club is to provide fundraising opportunities for the players, parents, and community members. But we don’t just ask for money.

Like many sports organizations, school funding only takes us so far. Many of the costs to support the organization are funded through community engagement fundraising with the help of players, parents, coaches, and our board members. We’ve been fortunate to receive private funding for field and facility renovation projects. Throughout the year the Grove City Gridiron Club provides fundraising opportunities to help subsidize costs and provide the team with the best conditions and tools to succeed on and off the field.

The Grove City High School Football Gridiron Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Gary Leasure.

Gary believed in our athletes and in giving them opportunities to succeed. His incredible generosity and longtime commitment to South-Western City Schools, and Grove City High School in particular, made a lasting impact on our athletic department and played an instrumental role in bringing our turf football field to our community...Leasure Field!

But his impact went far beyond the field. Gary was a true supporter of Grove City students and our schools, always willing to give his time, resources, and support to make a difference.

We are especially grateful that Gary continued to enjoy watching our football games and following our athletes. It meant so much to know he was still cheering us on.

Thank you, Mr. Leasure, for believing in our students, investing in our schools, and leaving a legacy that will live on through generations of Grove City athletes. We are incredibly grateful for all you did for our community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Leasure family. ❤️
