Welp that’s all she wrote. Made it to the semis yesterday to put icing on the cake. What a great season. 3 wins and several runner ups. Couldn’t have asked for a much better year. I’m so grateful as I always say to be able to do this with the people I love. I owe it all to those who support me, especially my parents. I couldn’t do it without you. Thank you all for the support over the years and thank you to the companies that stand by us! Til next time!

What a weekend. Got er done last night and runner up in sp today. I couldn’t have asked for a much better weekend. I’m so thankful to be in this position. It’s been a long time coming. I owe it all to my family and mentors. Thank you everyone for the love and support! Til next time!✌🏻

I’ll keep it short being everybody saw my mom’s post but, I just want to say thank you to everybody for the past 8 years at this track. 9 years ago at this track was the first I had ever heard or seen drag racing, 8 years ago was when I got my first junior, 4 years ago was when I got my first full sized dragster, and 2 days ago was when I got my first big win and Wally in a big car.

This track has always been home to me, and the people who attend these events have always been family to me. It’s been a long ride full of ups and downs, late nights and early mornings but it was all worth it. I could write an essay but I’ll keep it somewhat short. I just wanna thank everybody for being there with love and support, helping anytime I needed it. Thank you to all the track staff for always putting on the best show possible, and really making this track feel like a second home.
Thank you to everyone reading this post for always keeping my head up no matter how good or bad the weekend went.

Race Recap:
Saturday was a great day, we made it down to the super pro finals but fell short with a -.004 red. This ended up being my only round loss for the weekend.

Sunday we were cruising through rounds until the semi final in super pro. I heard the call and went to get in and realized my fan switch was on but there wasn’t a fan running. I called over Jeff and Roger, followed by the rest of the people that heard my call, and we started digging. Definitely not a great time for there to be a problem😂 thankfully we were able to swap relays with a less important one on the car and got it patched up in about 5 mins. But those 5 mins were stressful. Thankfully we were able to pull it off. There were a lot of good races that day, it was a blast.

That being said there’s always a possibility I’m able to fly home to make another one of these races but just in case, until next time😉

This past weekend we went to Cedar Falls for the last 777 for awhile. Friday started off great, my lights were consistent, the car was doing its job but the day ended early during 4th rd.

Saturday I don’t know what was going on but I couldn’t cut a decent light to save my life. I was all across the board and it was frustrating so I didn’t make either entry past 2nd rd.

Sunday I was really hoping to pull off a win for Fathers Day. It started off pretty poorly with the hot and humid weather slowing the car down by a tenth, along with my lights being scattered yet again. 3rd rd came along and I lost one entry, then I carried the second entry until 7 cars where I broke out .001. I feel better the more and more laps I make. I think seat time has been the key and will be the key to making it all the way.

The folks at CFMP run a tight ship never wasting time in the lanes. it’s a lot of fun racing down there and i can’t wait until the next race.

Our next race will be at Grove Creek in 2 weeks for the dual $5500s.

What a day.

Started off this morning with a first round loss in both entries. Bought back in both, and carried both entries into 5th round where I lost one. Then proceeded to take the other entry into the dragster semi finals (rd 7) when I had the reaction time advantage but the car slowed down a number unexpectedly.

But no complaints whatsoever today was an amazing day and I’m super duper happy with myself and the car. One more shot!

A solid day.

Carried both entries into 3rd round before losing 1 to a double breakout, and lost the 2nd entry in Round 4 to the same guy. It was a very close race, .003 at the stripe. I went 4.784 on a 4.78 dial and he tightened up the stripe to a .003 on his 4.51 dial.

The car ran the number over and over and over, running dead on the dial all day, only having to change the dial once the sun went down. I had a pretty decent day up front as well. I left the box pretty conservative just in case I got antsy, but I ended up being consistent most of the day. The cob webs are getting knocked off and were warmed up and ready for tomorrows 20k!

No luck for PRR this weekend. Yesterday I had a -.002 red light in first round before the race was cancelled due to an oil down after a long day of rain delays. Jeff on the Gpz also was having a very good day until the cancel.

Today Jeff almost had it but went -.002 red first round. I got lucky in the first round with my opponents red light. Second round a pro street car made a mistake and ended up being in the wrong class so I was backed up and given a new opponent. I was .008 on the tree and swore I had gotten to the finish line but misjudged the finish line and ended up staying .008 behind for the loss. The car was on repeat and did its job very well I just need some more seat time.

Still a great weekend to be out at the track and talking with all the amazing people.

Next weekend we will be heading to Cedar Falls Motorsports Park for the BOGO event.
