Yesterday was this guy’s last lift at Apex before graduation, and it’s hard to put into words what that means to us. Week after week, year after year, he showed up, put in the work, and became part of the family.

We’ve watched him grow stronger in the gym and into an incredible young man outside of it. We’re beyond proud of everything he’s accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s next for him.

Once Apex family, always Apex family. We’ll miss you, brother.

Join us in welcoming Mitchell Bault to Apex Performance Labs as our new Director of Pitching! A Cincinnati native and Archbishop Moeller graduate, Mitchell was part of three state championship teams before pitching four years at Ohio Dominican University, where he logged 256 career innings.

Over the last five years, Mitch has coached and developed youth, high school, college, and professional pitchers across Ohio. He founded Pitch Bault Baseball LLC, creating individualized throwing programs and mechanical evaluations for athletes nationwide. He has also held leadership roles with Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports, Top Notch Trainers, and Alpha Baseball.

Mitch specializes in data-driven player development, utilizing tools such as Trackman, Rapsodo, Edgertronic, Driveline TRAQ/EDGE, and arm care technologies to improve performance and recovery. He has worked alongside pitchers from numerous MLB organizations and helped athletes advance to top collegiate programs including Louisville, LSU, Clemson, Ohio State, and Notre Dame.

Mitch believes the culture at Apex Performance Labs is built on hard work, discipline, and consistency. By combining individualized development with modern training technology, Apex is committed to helping athletes maximize their potential and continue pushing toward their goals both on and off the field.
