🏆 Huge congratulations to Jeremy for winning the U12 USTA Yellow Ball title this weekend! 🎾

Jeremy’s success is no accident — he made an hour-long drive for our 6:30 AM lesson, showing the kind of commitment and discipline that champions are built on. His hard work and determination are paying off, and this is only the beginning of his journey. 💪✨

I am super super proud of him!

At Nikolayev Tennis Academy, we prioritize learning tennis the right way.
We don’t just teach advanced tournament players, we want everyone to learn tennis! Tennis is my passion, and my goal with each player is to teach them the game so they can play for the rest of their life, from a professional level to playing recreationally with your friends, family and coworkers.
Tennis is a lot of fun and great exercise simultaneously, but without learning the proper technique, it is impossible to succeed. My goal as a coach is to slow the game down, and teach shots that are easy to replicate.
Watch the video below to see a glimpse of our teaching strategy, and how we teach beginners

Working on an advanced slice and volley drill
with Andrew Lu( age 13 Acton).
One of the most common mistakes is taking low balls and trying to hit them hard or deep. Hitting a low slice keeps the ball low, and makes your opponent run and hit a difficult shot. Great job Andrew!

Haruki Ohara (age 13 Acton) with the age 16 and under level 6 tournament win! Great job Haruki keep up the good work. Haruki has been working hard on controlling the ball and executing his strategies, instead of anticipating and reacting to what older stronger more experienced players are doing. Hard work is paying off!

Serving lesson:
The main focus of the serve is to get your body forward and hit the top of the ball down into the court.
Notice how both feet are landing forward while still maintaining balance through the shot
