Happy Monday Groton Project!
Our final indoor FLRC Track and Field meet is on Sunday at Barton Hall. If you plan on attending, please register by 6pm on Saturday. It's free for our members.

The order of events is: 3000m, 60m, 1 mile, 200m, 4x200m relay, High Jump and Long Jump throughout
To register, select "register for the race", complete athlete info, select "Team, $0 now" in the first dropdown and select "Groton Project TC" in the following dropdown.

Happy Friday, Groton Project!
Just remember to register for the indoor meet at Barton Hall if you haven't already done so. The meet is on Sunday and registration info can be found at:

Coach Scott will be attending the meet and can help you all out with getting to your race on time and collecting your race bib etc.

Coach Simon will be at Lusk Field House on the SUNY Cortland campus from 12:15-1:45 for those of you that wish to enjoy a relaxed indoor training session at you own leisure

We're back on at Lusk Field House on the SUNY Cortland campus tomorrow (12/8), from 12:15-1:45. We have this Sunday timeslot booked throughout December and January, so feel free to come out and enjoy running in warmth and out of the snow!

Hello Groton Project! With the weather starting to get cooler, holidays approaching and Fall running season coming to a close, we will be taking a break from our weekly sessions. We have been approved for indoor sessions at Lusk Field House on the SUNY Cortland campus over winter and we will get those dates and times out in the coming week. Enjoy the long weekend!

Youth XC starts on Monday (9/16) at Sykes Park. 4:30-5:30pm for 3rd-6th grade and running for 6 weeks. We have some great meets lined up for the kids and the program feeds into our growing Modified and Varsity XC teams. Feel free to show up on the day, we will have registration forms on hand!

Our regular Groton Project session is canceled today (9/1), due to the Labor Day 5k tomorrow. Not too late to sign up! It looks like being a beautiful day for a fast run!

The 26th Annual Groton Labor Day 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run is on Monday September 2, 2024. It includes the following events: 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run.

Just a reminder that our Home Days Dash is on tomorrow (8/24), ahead of the parade. For any kids, 13 and under, that would like to run, please meet us on the lawn of the Groton Bank at 5:30pm!

Congrats to all of our Groton Project members who raced over the past week! Michelle Windsor, Michelle Van Etten and Monica Moll all completed the Forge the Gorge 8 miler, Linda Mahoney ran the 3 mile at the same event, Nicole Belcher completed the Great Race Triathlon and Carter Naginey completed the running leg in the team event of the same race. Great to see our members getting out there and putting in some solid results!

Groton Project is on tomorrow (8/11) at 3pm! With the Lansing Lighthouse and Labor Day 5k races fast approaching, our focus will be on group runs, leaving from the track and heading out around town. We're looking for Couch to 5k participants too, so as always, all ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged!
