We offer full service boarding, training options, and a lesson program open to boarders and non-boarders. In September of 2017, the iconic Grosse Pointe Hunt Club became privately owned and was renamed Grosse Pointe Equestrian. Since its purchase, GPE has completed many renovations, improvements and additions to the already lovely barn and surroundings, and with the goal of enhancing and expanding
the equestrian sport in southeastern Michigan, GPE is now open to the public and offers boarding, training, lessons and special programs in the disciplines of both Jumping and Dressage. GPE currently features 50 stalls, 26 paddocks (with year round auto-waters), 8 heated tack-up stalls (4 with hot water), 5 riding arenas all with GGT footing (2 indoor, 2 outdoor, plus a 50' round pen), and 2 full size dressage arenas. Our full service board includes amenities such as daily turnout, blanketing and hand-walking as needed. Hay is fed four times daily, and grain twice daily. Supplements and most medications are supplied by horse owner and given by staff. We have multiple vets, farriers, and trainers to choose from. GPE has carefully selected school horses and a thriving riding program that offers lessons in both Jumping and Dressage. Spaces to rent include a heated riders' lounge for smaller gatherings, and a larger event room suitable for hosting up to 150 people. Both event rooms have expansive views of our indoor arenas.
