PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS

The August 2026 signup for Private Swim Lessons is now available. Lessons are offered at our home pool in GPP. This is an in ground, heated, saltwater pool.

Lessons are on a first come, first serve basis. Due to limited availability, all lessons MUST be pre-paid within 24 hours of signing up in order to hold the date/time. Lessons not pre-paid within 24 hrs. will be released.

Our July signup for swim lessons is currently full and we are on a waitlist. We contact people from our waitlist first (before opening to the general population) for any cancellations we may get.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

We offer private swim lessons (late May -August) at our home pool in GPP (1029 Balfour). The pool is a heated, in-ground, saltwater pool.

SIGN UPS POSTED ON A MONTHLY BASIS (3rd Sunday at 7pm)

Individual Lessons - 30 minutes at $40 per person, per lesson. Children MUST be fully potty trained (not in swimmers) to take lessons.

Group lessons for up to three (3) swimmers - 30-minute lesson at $40 for 1st swimmer, $25 for each additional swimmer. NOTE: Group lessons available for children 5+ yrs. of age, and swimmers must be of similar skill level, maximum 3 swimmers for a group lesson.

Lessons must be prepaid via Venmo (-RAHMAAN) or Paypal () within 24hrs of submitting the signup in order to hold your reserved time slot. Only cancellations on the part of the instructor due to inclement weather or pool issue will be rescheduled.

PLEASE NOTE: We follow the same weather protocols as the local GP Parks; The Pool will only be closed (and lessons canceled/rescheduled) if there is Thunder or Lighting and will remain closed for 30 minutes after the last occurence. If it is only raining, the lessons continue.

Reminders:

- Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of your lesson to allow the previous lesson time to exit or speak with the instructor if needed
- Please do not park in the driveway, as we have several vehicles that may need to come/go during the day
- We do not allow children to wear puddle jumpers or life vests; the instructors need the children to learn to float and swim without them
- We do not allow parents in the pool with the children
- We do invite parents to stay and watch but ask that you please not coach/direct your child during the lesson. The instructors need to build a rapport with the child and someone other than the instructor giving direction can cause confusion
