Is 2024 the year you finally dip your fins into the water and learn to dive? I will be running open water scuba diver, advanced open water scuba diver, and nitrox courses through out the year. If I am not available you can always find fantastic instruction from these shops in Michigan: Sea-side Dive Shop, Anchor Bay Dive Shop, and Sea the World Scuba. If you are in Florida and you find yourself in the Keys then contact the folks at Sailfish Scuba, a great group of instructors. Already a diver and want to go tech? Michigan Diver offers TDI tech instruction, that's if you can get them off their latest shipwreck find.

There is no reason to miss out diving this year.

My younger divers struggle with clearing ears. Sometimes their Eustachian tubes are under developed, sometimes it's the mechanics of clearing.

Experts from DAN break down what to do with pesky ears, including how to perform various equalization methods and when.

One week till Christmas. Scuba diving related gifts are gifts that keep on giving. If you have a special diver in your life consider purchasing them a gift certificate from one of the local dive stores in your community. If you live on the east side of Detroit please check out Sea Side Dive Shop and Anchor Bay Scuba. Both shops are family owned, honest, ethical, and go above and beyond to assist their customers. And if you want to give the gift of scuba lessons you can always reach out to me or sign up at either shop (they both have top tier instructors). Go diving.

It's time to start planning for the 2024 dive season. 2023 was a slow year due to extended travel and a prolonged COVID cough. In 2024 I will continue to focus trainings around introducing new divers to the scuba diving lifestyle. The core three courses that will be taught this year are open water scuba diver, nitrox, and advanced open water scuba diver. These are three of the four courses that all divers should complete in their dive career.

I am planning for the first group of divers to begin pool training this February. Pricing will be different than in past years. Dive insurance has skyrocketed which has impacted how my students will rent gear (it's still an easy process, just different than past years).

All courses are taught as private lessons. I teach individuals, families, couples, and friend groups. All training is for 12 and older. I will train 10 and 11 year olds however that needs to be discussed separately.

So, ready to learn to dive? If interested then please shoot me a dm to discuss course details.
