This summer, the indoor pool will undergo essential maintenance and repairs to ensure it remains a high-quality facility for members to enjoy for years to come, which means that the pool will need to be closed this summer, beginning May 16 (aside from some open times during Reunion Weekend, May 30-June 1).

We know how important the indoor pool is to many of you, and we understand this temporary closure may be disappointing. The project includes replacing damaged tile, which requires the pool to be fully drained and refilled around the work. While the pool is drained our Facilities Management team will also upgrade several pumps to improve efficiency and extend the life of the system.

Currently, work is anticipated to start in June, and our plan is to reopen in early August. As the work moves forward, we will keep you updated on the timeline

Effective today and going forward, the College pool will be open for lap swimming between 3pm-8pm, Monday through Friday...

Effective today and going forward, the College pool will be open for lap swimming between 3pm-8pm, Monday through Friday. We still have a few varsity swimmers training for the NCAA Championships in mid-March, but there should always be at least 5 lanes available during the 3pm-7pm times.

Of note, the entire pool is closed this Friday (2/28) and Saturday (3/1) as we host the NCAA Diving Regionals.

These changes will be reflected on our pool schedule and remain subject to lifeguard and facility availability.

With the incoming winter weather overnight, the College is closed to the public tomorrow, February 12. The Bear Center will be accessible for essential classes and athletic practices only. Clubs, open gyms, and open swim are cancelled. The fitness center and field house will be closed.

We will reopen on Thursday, February 13, at 6am.

The Bear Center will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th in honor of the Juneteenth holiday. Reopen on Thursday, June 20th at 6am.
