We have the best community! Our Beginner, Rookie, and Grimes Flag Football Leagues were recognized at the Center - Grimes CSD football game this weekend. What an exciting night for these young athletes!

We are done early and Lions Park is back open!

The weather had other plans for us. We are rescheduling the w**d spraying at Lions Park to Thursday, August 27, 2026. The park will be closed for the day.

8/25/26 Update: The w**d spraying has been rescheduled to Thursday, August 27. The park will be closed for the day.

8/24/26 Update: The weather had other plans today. Due to the rain, we are rescheduling the w**d spraying. That means the park is open today. We'll share the new date when it's available.

(Original post) Heads up! Lions Park will be closed on Monday, August 24, 2026. The project subcontractor will be spraying for w**ds.
