Unfortunately, we have had to make the tough decision to combine with Ayden Middle for baseball this season. Tryout information will be posted as soon as I receive it. If your child will not turn 13 prior to May 1st, 2025, I would encourage you to have them play for Grifton Baseball League.

Tryouts will be next Tuesday Feb 11th and 12th. Times will be updated. A bus will take athletes over to Ayden Middle each day, but they must be picked up in Ayden.

As of right now, Grifton will have a softball team. If this changes, an announcement will be made.

Tryouts for softball will be next Tuesday Feb 11th and Thursday Feb 13th from 3 pm - 4:30 pm.

Due to weather and other circumstances, basketball games have had to be moved. Below is the updated schedule.

Monday Jan 27th - Away @ Chicod
Wednesday Jan 29th - Home vs Wellcome (Moved from January 16th)
Thursday Jan 30th - Home vs Bethel
Monday February 3rd - Home vs Greene County (Moved form Jan 23rd)

Spring sport information will be posted Monday, February 3rd.

Due to the weather school being out, today’s game vs Wellcome will be canceled. Updates about a reschedule and tomorrow’s game will be made as they come available

Apologies for not notifying about yesterdays game vs Wellcome being rescheduled. If you bought an online ticket, they will still be good for the new date. We will play Wednesday January 22nd @ 4pm.

We will host Greene County Thursday January 23rd @ 4pm.

The away basketball game Monday @ GR Whitfield will be played following the GR Whitfield vs Wellcome girls game that starts at 4 pm

Unfortunately we have had to make the tough decision to end our girls basketball game season early. This was not an easy decision to come to, but we felt it was in the best interest of all players, coaches, fans, and officials in our conference.

Due to this decision, all boys games the rest of the season will begin at 4 pm beginning Monday with the away game @ Greene County Middle.

As basketball season approaches, please remember that middle school students must be accompanied by an adult, and a clear bag policy will be strictly enforced.

Basketball tryouts begin Monday November 4th from 3pm-5pm and will end on Wednesday November 6th. All students planning to tryout must have a current physical on file with Coach Cook and be eligible to participate in sports for the Fall semester.
