Marbles hatchet, this is vintage and was made in Gladstone Michigan. I forget the model, but it does have the three hole eye, the original handle, and cover with Marbles snap hardware.

We will start the sales off with the knife box that got dad in trouble in the hospital before he died. I'm not sure what he paid for it so I figure we just do an auction.

There is not a spec of rust on this beauty and hasn't been touched by a stone. The only thing that says it's old is the wear on the cover.

Starting bid 5$

I know I haven't posted in here for a long time. I had gotten away from working on repairs due to operating my paylake. 2 years ago my father died, Dave Sullivan, and now more issues have come my way.

I was recently diagnosed with gastric esophageal cancer and have to look forward to a ton of treatments this winter. In order to pay some bills and off load the accumulated ....stuff...I will be posting lots of axes and single axes/ axeheads as well as other tools. I don't want to deal with ebay and having to post all the stupid keywords that don't pertain to the tool in order to get views so...here it is.

Keep an eye in the near future and please share this all over.

To all those that knew him, Dave Sullivan, my dad and the reason I got into axe repair, passed away today. I will be gathering all the spare axes and axe heads together and photographing them for sale. We will need to raise money for his services.

I know this is a fish axe but not sure of the manufacture company. If anyone knows please let me know. It has been out...

It has been outside getting rained on for about 5 years, I should know...I left it there. I decided to try something and sandblast it. I understand there will be people that cry and lament that fact but I don’t care. It’s mine and I may not sell it. Who knows. The pictures are in order as of right now. I am looking to see if the company had any of the steel painted or no. I already know that the handle had red paint. Share this around please.

I had forgotten I had seen this when I was as in Mongolia several years ago. This is a rock metal Mongolian band that is performing in the Wedding Palace in Ulaanbaatar. Funny thing is that I didn’t find a single Mongolian axe, just a Russian and a Chinese not meant for export to US.
