💦 STRONGER THAN THE STORM — ONE LINE, ONE VALVE, ONE STEP AT A TIME. 💦
A huge shout-out to our Superintendent, Doug Dutton, and our incredible grounds crew for the years of hard work, persistence, and determination they have poured into bringing The Club at Shoal Creek back.
Today marked another incredible milestone.
The irrigation system around our clubhouse — an area that hasn’t had functioning irrigation in nearly two decades — is finally coming back to life.
But this wasn’t a matter of simply turning the system on.
Our crew has been tracing lines, digging up heads, repairing tornado damage, installing pressure gauges and valves, bleeding years of rock and debris from the system, repairing the intake at the lake, grounding boxes, and tackling one problem after another to get water moving again.
We still have a long way to go, and there will undoubtedly be more surprises buried underground. But today was one of those days when you could actually see years of hard work beginning to pay off.
After everything this property has been through, progress like this means that much more.
We’re not rebuilding The Club at Shoal Creek overnight. We’re rebuilding it the right way — piece by piece, line by line, and stronger than the storm. 💚
And, in no particular order — Doug, Dino, Ellis, Johnny, Chris, Allen, Alan, Jason, Brady, Bralyn, JJ, Richard, Jordan, Bernard, Parker, Brian, Henry, Bryce, Parker, Grayson, Danny, and every member of our amazing crew (past and present) who has worked tirelessly over the last several years — thank you.
So much of your work happens underground, behind the scenes, and long before anyone else sees the results. But little by little, the difference you’re making is becoming more visible every single day.
Today, we saw it. 💚⛳️
