To all gym members past present and future, a note of clarification:
A few rumors have recently started that I’m making huge changes to the gym. And somewhere along the line it was suggested that I am no longer taking memberships and there has been a huge price increase. None of this is true. I did raise prices slightly in order to keep up with inflation. I changed the signs but the gym will forever be known as Tuck’s Powerdome. I have big plans for the future of the gym. New equipment is in route and has already been bought and paid for.
To keep up with society, all businesses must change and evolve. I’m just trying to tap into another stream of revenue. Thank you for your support over the last 42 years. Sincerely, Tuck Smith

So about I asked the powerdome members what do we need next and this was the overwhelming response. It took about 3 months but it came in today. A big shoutout to Gronk fitness they have excellent customer service.now our bodybuilders can win the big shows with this and the outdoor walking/running track powerdome members will go all the way to the top.

Another addition to the powerdome the iron chest master . This is a great movement to get the chest shoulders and triceps pumped at the same time.when it comes to building muscle you look at what the top trainers and bodybuilding champs use in their workouts.

More equipment added to the powerdome. New to Spalding athletes the kabuki kyubell. This is a 3 grip dumbbell that can be used for several bodybuilding movements.the powerdome members asked for them and now we will see more muscular athletes in the griffin area.

As promised more photos from the EARLY 80s at my 2nd location in downtown griffin the middle picture is from a bench press meet in feb 1984 . This is back when a 400 lb bench press was a very special lift to witness .the top picture I would guess is from September 85 after prejudging at the MR griffin on Taylor st.
