🏆 Incredibly proud is an understatement! 🌟

We want to take a moment to celebrate our amazing competition dancers for an absolutely unforgettable year. From the studio to the stage and everywhere in between, these dancers have poured their hearts into everything they do.

Look at what they’ve accomplished this season:
✨ Giving Back: Crushing their fundraising goals and sharing their talents with the community through local performances.

🥇 Shining on Stage: Excelling across multiple dance competitions and leaving it all on the floor.

🌱 Growing as Leaders: Not only pushing their technical skills to the next level, but stepping up as role models and growing beautifully as our newest inductees!

Day 3 at Thunderstruck Dance Competition wrapped up an incredible weekend! ✨ Our dancers brought it to the floor and finished the season strong. So proud of all the hard work, dedication, and heart they showed all weekend long.

A special shoutout to our senior dancers—your leadership, commitment, and passion have set the tone for the entire team. We’re so proud of you and all you’ve accomplished this season! ❤️

The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here: The Dance by Design Summer Schedule is officially LIVE, and online registration is OPEN! 🚀 Whether you're looking for an intensive week of growth or a month-long groove, we have the perfect spot on the floor for you.

Check out our three amazing summer sessions:

📅 Choose Your Summer Groove

1-Week Camp (June 8th–11th): A high-energy blast meeting every day, Monday through Thursday!

1-Week Session (June 22nd–25th): Keep that momentum going with daily classes, Monday through Thursday.

4-Week Session (July 6th–30th): The classic summer rhythm! Classes meet once a week for four weeks.

We want to make sure every dancer is in the class where they will shine the brightest! 🌟

Current Ballet (Levels 1-6), Prepointe, Pointe & Acro Dancers: Your teachers are currently working on personalized evaluations! Please wait to register for these specific classes until your evaluation form is sent home with summer recommendations.

New to Ballet? If you are age 9+ and ready to dive into our advanced levels, everyone starts their journey at Level 1 to build that rock-solid foundation.

New to Acro? We’d love to have you! Please reach out to Amber at [email protected] so we can help find the perfect level for your skills.

It’s almost showtime! ⚡️ Check your inboxes—the final schedule for the Thunderstruck Dance Competition (April 17–19) has officially landed.

Here is everything you need to know before we hit the stage at the Mid America Center:

📅 The Schedule

The email includes tentative dance times, arrival times, and award ceremonies.

Pro-tip: Competitions are notorious for running ahead of (or behind) schedule. Please stay flexible and be ready to go!

Saturday, April 18th: There will be NO competition rehearsals held on this day.

🚫 Venue Rules: Food & Drink

The Mid America Center has a strict policy against outside food and drink. Please plan accordingly so we can stay in the venue's good graces!

📸 Media & Livestream

No Livestream: There will not be a live broadcast for this event, so you’ll want to be there in person to cheer the team on!

Photos & Videos: Good news! All media is included with your media fee. You will receive links to your photos and videos no later than the Friday following the competition.

🩰 Important Updates for Arabesque Company Dancers!

The countdown to recital is on! We have a busy few weeks ahead, so please mark your calendars with these key dates and changes:

Final Saturday Rehearsal: This Saturday, April 4th (10:30–11:30 AM).

Picture Day: Saturday, April 11th at the studio.

Final Competition: Weekend of April 17th–19th. Good luck, dancers!

⏰ Schedule Change (Starting April 20th):
To prep for the big stage, all competition dances (including solos, duets, trios, and groups) will move to Mondays from 6:30–7:30 PM. There will be no Saturday rehearsals after the final competition.

✨ Mentorship & Backstage Magic:
It’s a tradition! All Arabesque dancers are required to help backstage for the 8 & Under shows. Our dancers play a vital role in making the show run smoothly!

Dress Rehearsal: Friday, May 22nd

Recital: Saturday, May 23rd (11:00 AM)

Note: Please let us know if your dancer should (or shouldn’t!) be paired with a sibling’s class.

🍕 Rehearsal & Pizza Party for all competition dancers!
No regular classes the week of May 18th. Instead, join us Monday, May 18th (6:30–7:45 PM) to run dances and celebrate with a pizza party!
