Remember Bill Humphreys? Bill gave a talk at a book signing event for our 2025 BBB ride. Then, he had open heart surgery in October to replace a leaky valve and almost immediately after that resumed cycling as part of his rehab. A month into rehab, Bill kicked up the intensity by deciding to train for a ride up Mont Ventoux, the legendary Tour de France climb. On August 23rd, Bill did just that by riding 16 miles and climbing 4000' in just over 3 hours. That's amazing! But more so, considering that Bill is 82 years old!!!

Did you know BBB was a kid-friendly event? Yep! Kenny Gober brought his 2 grandchildren (age 9 and 11) to Greenwood for their organized ride. Here they are pulling into the Money rest stop. Kenny and his wife, Melissa, are loyal veterans of BBB having participated 19 out of the 19 rides! Thanks Kenny and Melissa!
