Our Bulldog golfers competed at Eagle Crest today.
Our girls placed second with a 257. Ellery shot our best score of 77. The girls were 10 strokes behind Russellville.

Our boys also placed second with a season best 303. Carson Wade and Carter Koch shot 73 and ended up in a 5 way tie for medalist.

Great job Bulldogs!

Another hot day on the links! Bulldogs in a 5 team match at Ben Geren.

Girls won! Ellery was the overall medalist with an 80! Payton shot 85, Cali shot 89, and Zoe shot 96.

Boys placed second behind Shiloh. Ames was our lowest score with a 75, Ryan fired a 79, Ozzie shot an 80 (with a quad - great recovery), Truett shot 82, and Carter shot 86.

The Bulldogs were blessed with great weather today while playing Van Buren in a dual match at Ben Geren. Both teams won their matches.

Payton Crowe was the girls medalist with an 80. Ellery fired an 81 and Cali Coatney shot a 92 to go with it!

Ames Middleton shot a 77 and went to a playoff with Van Buren’s 1 bag to win overall medalist for boys. Carter Koch and Ryan Ross shot 78 and Carson Wade shot 80.

Well done Bulldogs!

At Glenwood today.. Boys placed second with a 316! Carter Koch hit his personal best 73(+1)! Ames Middleton came in with a smooth 75 as well!

Girls finished 1st! Ellery Hogeland was the medalist with an 83. Cali Coatney hit another personal best this week with an 87!

Our golfers competed at The Creeks in Cave Springs today. Our Lady Bulldogs placed first with a 245 (one better than yesterday). Payton Crowe won overall medalist shooting her personal record 74 (+3)! Zoe Lamb also shot her personal best 88! Great job girls!

The boys placed 3rd with a 315. We came up one stroke short of our conference foe, Shiloh Christian. Ames Middleton led the way with a 77. Carter Koch birdied his last two holes to shoot a personal best 79 today!

The Bulldog golf teams had a great day playing on our home course - The Vache! We hosted Mena, Van Buren, and Lavaca for 18 holes.

The Lady Bulldogs won 1st as a team and shot some great scores shooting 246! Payton Crowe won medalist with a great score of 77, her season best so far. Ellery Hogeland shot 80 and Cali Coatney shot her season and personal best 89! Mabrie Cash also shot a personal best 97! Great job girls!

The boys team also won 1st place as a team shooting our season best 302. Carson Wade shot a 73 which is a season best and came in 3rd overall. Ozzie Rogers eagled hole 15 to shoot a 75 which was also a personal and season best. Ames Middleton continued to play well and shot a season best 76. Ryan Ross started out red hot -2 through his first 7 holes to finish with a season and personal best 78. Carter Koch started slow but grinded out a solid score of 80.

Some notable JV scores were Cruz Coatney with a 76 (including a triple on hole 10), Beau Bartlett with a 78, and Truett Embree with an 81. Ryker Whittington hit his personal and season best 90!

Overall it was a great day! Our top golfers compete at the Creeks in NWA tomorrow morning!

It was awesome watching these athletes play and compete today! We had quite a few matches that were close and they battled it out in the heat! I was super proud of all of them!

Greenwood points:

- Hogeland/Crowe defeat French/Duncan 5&4

- Coatney/Lamb defeat Bourne/King 1 Up

- Middleton/Ross defeat Borengasser/Wakefield 2&1

Southside Points:

- Ahlert/Plattner defeat Rogers/Embree 1 Up

Ties:
- DeLassus/Martin split a point with Wade/Koch

Greenwood wins 3.5 points today and Southside wins 1.5 points.

The total after 2 rounds of the Ryder Cup is:
Greenwood - 7.5
Southside - 2.5

Two dramatic fashion finishes were Carson and Carter and Zoe and Cali. Carter/Carson were down 1 going into their last two holes. Carter makes a 20 foot birdie putt to get it back to even and ultimately splitting a point.
Zoe and Cali were down 2 with 3 to play (4-6). They won the last 3 holes to steal a point away! On their last hole (6) Cali bombs her drive 25 yards from the green and Zoe chips it to 8 feet to seal the victory. Very proud of these kids competing well under pressure!

10 points are up for grabs in our last round of 18 hole individual match play on September 10th at Ben Geren. The first team to win 10.5 will take home the Ryder Cup! Come out and watch!
