To be recognized around the local area, Region and State, as the leader in the development of soccer players and coaches. CLUB OVERVIEW
Lakelands Toros is an affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation and South Carolina Youth Soccer Association. We field Select boys and girls teams in the U13-U18 age groups that compete in South Carolina. Lakelands Toros also offers a Junior Academy development program for U8-U12 players (boys & girls) who will be introduced to training that focuses on the "natural" game of soccer. This approach allows young players the freedom to master and acquire new techniques, learn small sided tactics and principles of all positions while creating the mentality to be the best you can be. Lakelands Toros introduced a Recreation Program in the Spring 2013 season for boys and girls aged four to twelve. The aim of the recreation program is to provide low cost soccer to children in a low pressure, fun environment. Participants will gain basic soccer skills while learning to work and enjoy being on a team. Lakelands Toros also promotes exercise and a healthy lifestyle in young children. Our coaching staff is high quality and draws from the college, high school, and ODP (state team) ranks. Many of our coaches have earned multiple licenses which are awarded only after completing a rigorous course of instruction at the national schools.
