Four years. Countless practices, games, bus rides, wins, adversity, growth, and memories.

Today I had the honor of watching one of my seniors be recognized as the River Valley Girls Soccer Player of the Year, and I honestly couldn’t be more proud of her.

Awards are great, but what I’m most proud of is the person she has become through the process. The leadership, toughness, consistency, and character she showed over these last four years have meant just as much as anything she accomplished on the field.

Watching players grow up right in front of you is one of the best parts of coaching. Proud of you, Farah. You earned every bit of this. ⚽️🏆
