The City of Greenwood will hold a Work Session on Tuesday, December 9th at 6:15 PM to discuss the bids received for the Joel Dean Hitt Park Playground Replacement project. The public is welcome to attend. The Work Session will be held at City Hall.

We have BIG news!!🎉

🎉 Big News for the City of Greenwood! 🎉

We’re excited to share that our city has been awarded the Land and Water Conservation grant from Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks!✨

Thanks to this generous support, we’ll soon be building a new playground at Joel Dean Hitt Park—a fun, safe, and inclusive space where kids of all ages and abilities can play, grow, and connect.

This project will include awesome features like:
✅ Accessible play structures
✅ Slides, swings, and climbing areas
✅ Shaded seating and gathering spots

We’re so grateful for the grant and the opportunity to investing in our community’s future. Thank you to everyone who supported this project—we can’t wait to see it come to life! 💙

Freedom Fest car show:
We have only received a few enrollments. If we don't have at least 12 more enrollments by end of day on Friday June 6th, we will be forced to cancel the car show. Please spread the word. Enrollment can be found on the City of Greenwoods web page.
