The City of Greenwood is very excited to host Hunter Mounce at the 2026 Fall Festival!

Hunter is a local artist from Pleasant Hill and has recently spent time in the Music City songwriter scene. We hope you come out to the Fall Festival on Saturday, October 16th (12:00 PM to 5:00 PM) to hear some great country music!

New playground coming Fall 2026!

The City of Greenwood is excited to host the 2026 Freedom Festival on Saturday, June 27th! We would love for you to attend as we celebrate America's 250th birthday! As a reminder, here is the general schedule of events:

- Festival Gates Open at 4:00 PM to General Public
- Food Trucks and Vendors (4:00 PM to 8:00 PM)
- Free Fellowship Church Shuttles (Starts at 4:00 PM)
- Free Foam Party (5:00 PM to 7:00 PM)
- Live Music at Shelter #1 (Grindstone) (5:00 PM to 9:00 PM)
- Inflatables and Climbing Rock Wall on Field #2 (Wristbands - $10)
- New Playground Groundbreaking - JDH Playground (6:00 PM)
- Veteran's Flag Retirement Ceremony - 7:00 PM (Next to Volleyball Court)
- Free 9 Hole LED Glow Mini Putt (7:30 PM to 9:30 PM)
- Fireworks Display - Begins at 9:30 PM / 9:45 PM (dark sky)

The City of Greenwood will hold a Work Session on Tuesday, December 9th at 6:15 PM to discuss the bids received for the Joel Dean Hitt Park Playground Replacement project. The public is welcome to attend. The Work Session will be held at City Hall.
