It’s finally finished — the Officer Don “DJ” Keller memorial turkey call.

This custom call was handcrafted in DJ’s memory, with all proceeds being donated directly to his family. The call is made from beautiful black walnut, paired with a Purple Heart striker, creating a one-of-a-kind tribute piece for a true hero.

We have 188 followers on this page, and I wanted to ask a question and get some honest feedback.

I’m considering building a custom turkey call to auction off in memory of Officer DJ Keller, with all proceeds going directly to his family. The call would be designed as a tribute to fallen officers and would include a specialized memorial coin set into the back under a glass surface.

This idea is especially meaningful to me personally. My wife’s father — and my boys’ grandfather — was also a law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty in 1982 under similar circumstances. Because of that, this hits very close to home for our family.

Before I move forward, I wanted to see how much interest there would be from our community. Thank you all for the feedback, support, and prayers for the Keller family.
