Annie Dooms - 3rd place overall for 8 & under girls
Peter Dooms - 3rd overall for 9-10 boys,
Weiland Augustyniak - 3rd overall 15-17 boys and Nick McCoy 1st overall 15-17 boys

Weekly Update 7/6-7/12

Hello Crocodile Families,

I can’t believe we’re all ready for our last week of swimming! We still have a lot of fun things planned, so please make sure you read this entire update so you stayed informed for our busy week ahead.

IMPORTANT TO DO’s:

Declare your swimmer: please let the coaches know ASAP if your swimmer will be
participating in the conference meet on July 11th by declaring them on the website. You must declare your swimmer by Tuesday, July 7th 12:00pm. No Entries will be accepted after this time. 6 and unders do not participate in this meet.

Volunteer: We still have volunteer positions open for this event. Please consider signing up.

Bonus: Having a volunteer position is the only way you will be allowed to be on the pool deck
during the meet, and you don’t pay admission to the meet.

RSVP to Pizza Party/Awards: Please let us know if you will be attending our end-of-the-year

Pizza partyl/Awards on the evening of 7/12 by RSVPing on the website. This event is for
athletes and their immediate family. We’ll enjoy pizza, awards, and open swim. If your last name begins with A-M please bring a dessert to share and if your last name begins with N-Z please bring a side dish.

Tuesday 7/7: Home meet vs.Devon
Please arrive at 4:45 for warm-ups

Thursday 7/10: No meet for Carefree
Saturday 7/11: Conference Meet @ Franklin Community High School

Parking will be available in front of the natatorium

Carefree warm-ups: 8:30 am - North Pool lanes 1-3
Meet time: 9am - 2pm (estimate of end time)

General Information:
●Admission $5.00 for 12+●
Admission $2.00 3-11; 2 and under free
Tickets can be pre-purchased with the link, which should make getting through the gate a little faster. Tickets will also be available at the gate for purchase as well. With the link you will just need to show proof of purchase at the gate and you can pick up the pre-ordered heat sheets as well.

Hello Crocodile Families,

We’re excited for another great week at the pool!

Away Meet - Carefree @ Chapel Glen

Thank you for your flexibility in rescheduling this meet! We’ve added this as a new event on our
schedule, so please log on to SwimTopia and declare whether or not your swimmer will be
attending. To reiterate, it is very important for the coaches to know whether or not a swimmer
will be attending the meets. If your plans change and you no longer will be able to attend after
signing up, please “undeclare” your swimmer in SwimTopia. This allows the coaches to reshuffle
relays and allows other swimmers the opportunity to participate.

This end-of-the-year meet works a little differently than the dual meets. You must declare your swimmer by noon on July 7th. This is a hard deadline, and no swimmer will be able to be

***Tonight’s Meet Postponed***

Hi Everyone

There was a schedule misunderstanding by Chapel Glen. They did not realize they were hosting the meet tonight. Unfortunately, tonight's meet will have to be canceled.

We are working on rescheduling the meet, with July 2nd as a possible make-up date. We will follow up when we confirm the meet can in fact be rescheduled.

Hello Crocodiles Families,

Happy Father’s Day to all the Crocodile Dads out there! Here are the important updates and
information you need for the upcoming week:

Championship Conference T-Shirts:

Beech Grove is our host this year for our big championship meet at the end of the season.
They are selling t-shirts to commemorate this fun event. If you would like to purchase one,

T-shirts must be pre-ordered, and the order has a hard deadline of June 25th. All shirts will be available for pick up at the meet on July 11th.

Weekly Update 6/15-6/19

Hello Crocodiles Families,

We have another great week at the pool ahead of us! A big shout out to all the swimmers and
parents who came out for our first home meet against Beech Grove. Everyone swam their best
and your coaches are very proud of you all!!

Fence Sign - 2nd Order

We had a few families express disappointment that they didn’t get a fence sign during the first
round of ordering. We’ve re-opened the order form and will close it at midnight on Tuesday
June 16th so if you're regretting not getting a sign here is your chance! These make for a great
memento your child can hold onto after the season is over. They should be in by Friday just in
time to be displayed for the second half of the season. Let’s fill the fence and show the
neighborhood how awesome it is to be a Carefree Croc!
