Job Posting: Part-Time Swim Coach for the Aquawolves Swim Team
Location: Cherry Creek High School
Position: Part-Time Swim Coach
Schedule: 3-4 Practices per Week + One Meet per Month
​Looking for someone to start in March 2026

Are you passionate about swimming and eager to inspire young athletes? We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Swim Coach to join our team and work with our developmental group of middle school swimmers in the Cherry Creek area.
Responsibilities:
Conduct 3-4 swim practices per week, focusing on technique, endurance, and teamwork.
Prepare swimmers for monthly swim meets, ensuring they are competition ready.
Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes personal growth and sportsmanship.
Develop tailored training plans that meet the needs of each swimmer in the group.
Communicate effectively with athletes and their families regarding progress and expectations.
Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience, particularly with youth or developmental swim teams, is preferred.
Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and training methodologies.
Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain). There will also be other requirements to be certified with USA swimming.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.

🎉 Huge Congratulations to Kate McKinnon! 🎉

We have some amazing news to share that has us all swimming with excitement! 🏊‍♀️✨ Our very own Kate McKinnon has qualified for the National Select Camp at the Olympic Training Center! This is an incredible achievement and the first in Aquawolves Team history! 🐺👏

This camp is extremely difficult to qualify for and must rank TOP 3 in the nation in an event! Kate has shown us all what dedication, hard work, and a sprinkle of talent can do! 💪🌟

We couldn’t be prouder of Kate! Let’s give her a big round of applause and shower her with all the support she deserves! 🎊🎈 Not only is she making waves in the pool, but she’s also making a lasting impact on the program as a whole. She is a kind and supportive to all her teammates. She has been such a great leader and mentor for the younger ones as well.
