Hello Everybody - I need some help. I'm looking to obtain photos from the 1940's to 1960's that I can use in my documentary. In particular I need photos of city kids (NYC if possible) drawing with chalk on the street, playing stickball, playing stoopball, playing in the street or sidewalk, the great depression, bumper riding (hanging onto the back of a car - dangerous I know), the EL train, kids reading comic books or the newspaper funnies, and subway graffiti. Some of these I can get through Getty Images, but they cost an arm and a leg so I was hoping somebody out there might have some dusty photographs sitting in a box that they'd permit me to use.
