The back 9 has a couple trees down. I was able to cut them up and get a portion of them moved, but if everyone who plays the course picks up one branch and throws it into the woods everything will be out of the way in no time. I was also able to get 6 weedwhacked. With the new mowing system I have a lot more of an opportunity to push back the tall grass even more than it has been in the past.

The first week of league went great! 9 people out for a blustery round. Joe Pulsoni and Brandon Medina tied for 1st splitting $35 and Arien Cartrette took 3rd for $10. We're back at it tomorrow. 4:45 registration in the welcome center parking lot and 5:10 tee time. $7 for everything. $5 to payout, 1 to ace, and 1 to course fund. The course fund is up to $20 and the ace pot is up to $23.

Spring has sprung! I've upgraded my course maintenance game, and will be mowing 2, 3, 5, and 6 a lot more regularly. I got a huge chunk of mowing done today during league. I also included a picture of the first hazelnut leaves peeking out on hole 10 and the newly cleared out rough on 5. Still bogeyville, but it won't poke your eye out or eat your disc.

It's about time to dust off this old page. The course is playing great!

I was able to plant 7 hazelnut trees out on the course today. Hazelnut trees are a native species that offer a lot of benefits for the animals that live around the course. Once the 3 behind the green on 6 grow a few feet taller they'll offer a beneficial catchers mitt for the animals who can't control their drives too. Keep an eye out for them! They are marked with orange marking tape on holes 2, 6, and 10. Feel free to sprinkle a little water on them to help them out.

Spring is almost here, and that means course work season!

Hole 13 is getting some love. We will be extending the bridges and working on a new drop zone so your feet can stay dry after you bomb your distance driver into the swamp.

More work is planned, so stay tuned.

Your local courses all take an enormous amount of effort to build and maintain. Reach out to your local course steward or club and see how you can help. Disc golf is a community effort, and if everyone helped out a little it would go a long way to making our sport better for all.

Our summer camp programs are starting this week, so please keep in mind the following things:

-Visitors must sign in at daypass.ctkcenter.org
-Please make sure to park in the designated parking lot by the ball field or at the welcome center
-All dogs must be leashed and please bag and carry out any waste
-Smoking and alcohol use on the course/in youth areas is prohibited
-Be mindful of increased traffic on the trails and around the property, always wait until the area is clear to throw
-Camp will always have priority over the grounds, so if there is an event happening please skip that hole/holes

Thanks for helping us keep our campers safe.

Big thanks to Tim Jiardini for a monetary donation that went towards fixing our mower. We will be mowing throughout the week.

It's a big job maintaining the course, so if you enjoy playing CtK and ever want to help be a part of the upkeep just get in touch with us. We can always use more volunteers to help keep our property beautiful.

Holes 2, 3, 4, and 5 will be closed this Sunday, May 23rd, from 8 am until 12 pm for an event on the lawn. Please skip to hole 6 or wait until the afternoon to play.

The back 9 will be open, so you can also have twice the fun in the woods!

Thank you.
