Join the YMCA of Greenwich Marlins

The YMCA of Greenwich Marlins are welcoming new swimmers for the 2026–27 season with tryouts/evaluations the week of August 31st

From developing swimmers to national-level competitors, the Marlins offer a year-round USA Swimming program built around great coaching, competitive opportunities, positive team culture, and helping every swimmer reach their full potential.

Congratulations to Maddie and Kate who both set new 11-12 Girls records while representing Team CT at the 2026 EZ LC Age Group Championships! Alexia, Kate, Maddie, Ollie and Lucy all swam so fast and ended the Age Group Team LC Season on a high note while helping Team CT to their highest finish ever while contributing individually and on relays!

Three Marlins took down Team Records last week at YMCA Nationals in Ocala! Great job ladies!

Maddie van der Weijden lowered her own team record in the 50 Free from 27.25 to 27.08!

Kate Chesley also bested her own team record in the 50 back becoming the first female in Marlins history to break 30 in the 50 back!

Ellison Charette’s winning time of 17:19.28 was good enough to beat our previous team record by over 2 seconds!

Big Night 4 in Ocala at YNats for the Marlins!

Kate Chesley tied for 2nd place in the Women’s 100 Back with a Summer Junior Nationals qualifying time, congrats Kate!

Ellison Charette 14th place in the Women’s 400 Free, great job Ellison!

Women’s 200 Free Relay finished 14th place, way to go Maddie, Julia, Ellison, and Kate!

Julia Kozma finished 20th place in the Women’s 50 fly, capping off a solid overall meet for Julia!

Calder Kelly making his second final in as many swims in the Men’s 100 back finishing in 38th place!
