Swamp Fox Golf

Swamp Fox Golf SFGS is all about learning to adapt to the key proven scientific fundamentals and variables that produce the most effective golf swing on the planet.

The Swamp Fox Golf Academy is all about adapting the key proven scientific fundamentals and variables that produce the most effective golf swing with the least amount of injury. We provide a hierarchy of stacked learning techniques and drills that are based directly from Rotary Swing Tour methodologies (www.rotaryswing.com). This system was developed by Chuck Quinton, a top 100 golf teacher. Chuck

coordinated a board of medical experts which consisted of an orthopedic surgeon, biomechinist, and a neurologist to find the key method of producing the most efficiant swing in the safest way, with a learning strategy that the human mind could learn quickly with permanent results. The Swamp Fox was adopted from Frances Marion who was a revolutionary war general in South Carolina. He is said to be the creator of guerilla warfare. He was coined the Swamp Fox because of his ability to adapt with innovation in the swamps of SC. The Swamp Fox would teach his men the proper ways to live in the swamp, stay hidden from the British, and turn a relative difficult situation into an easy one. Here at SFGA, we take on those same innovative adaptations with the game of golf. Golf can be a very difficult game. With the proper learning techniques, fundamentals, and understanding, any student can adapt to make this difficult game an easy one.

Great drill to improve putting is to try and strike the equator of the ball by using the leading edge of your wedge. Repost: .obsession

I want everyone to notice how the head moves down in this golf swing.... this is good.... this means he is using the ground for power...
If ever the head moves up during impact, it means you're standing up out of the shot too early (moving your center, losing , , etc.)

Focus on getting in front of a camera or mirror and getting the club into the position you see in. The position being being where the club is parallel to ground, shaft aiming down target line and the club is level with the bottom of pant pocket. Also watch the excess movement of the knees. Notice that Adam's knees are pretty much where they started at setup. Any extra movements with the legs is going to move our head and center off line (watch the laser knee drill video at www.rotaryswing.com). The right image is coming way too far inside during the take away which is going to promote an over the top swing.

A common trend amongst amateurs is have too much of a gap between the thumb and index finger or having a in the golf grip. You should feel pressure against the rear hand index finger on the second crease down. This causes an air tight seal without having to strangle the golf grip.
