NWTF Amateur Carved Division.
I’ve named the call “Sitting Ducks”. The call features 6 carved ducks, one raccoon, and one eagle perched on a dead fall tree on a walnut barrel. The band is out of maple burl and is carved oak leaves, and the walnut insert features two carved eagle heads, acorns, leaves, duck feet, and feathers.
This is my 3rd carved call. The toneboard is signed and labeled “3rd carved”

Here is my decorative carved call entry for the NWTF.
Amateur division call # 1059
This call has 3 panels.
Panel 1.
Has 3 ducks coming in to the decoys with a no hunting sign, and a scrimshaw feather in the insert.
Panel 2.
Has 3 ducks, two ducks committed and bowed up, and one duck that’s been shot and is falling out of the sky, with a scrimshaw shotgun shell in the insert.
Panel 3.
Has 1 duck hanging on a lanyard, a hunter holding a single shot 12 ga. taking a shot on a duck, and a wood duck house with a raccoon checking things out below.
The insert has a basket weave carved design encompassing the scrimshaw panels, and a 2/3 wrap around rope on the top.
This call is titled “Single Shot Twelve” and is themed after my late grandfathers single shot 12 ga. that he gave me.

It’s time for the National Wild Turkey Federation National Convention again.
This is my working duck entry for this year.
This call is made from Black Dyed Yellow Cedar Burl, Sleeved in Delrin and finished with a CA finish.
As of now, books are still closed and I’m catching up on orders.
If you’re wanting to jump ahead on the list, I can get you a bidding form and you can bid on this call that will be at the auction.
