We were excited to welcome the privilege of having Coach Jay from USTA Mississippi pay us a visit this morning! We’re grateful for his time, experience, and coaching expertise as he worked alongside our older group and helped take their game to the next level.

We also want to thank Coach Chris for taking the beginner group this morning! You have always been a great asset to our program!

Having coaches who are willing to pour their knowledge and experience into our youth is such a blessing! We appreciate y’all, for investing in our players and our program!

They came, they knew the answers, and they conquered!

A group from the Greenville CTA/NJTL crew is currently at Mississippi University for Women participating in the NJTL Cup event, hosted by USTA Mississippi.

First order of business? Defending their title! They just won the Quiz Bowl competition for the second year in a row! 🏆

Next up: the tournament matches this afternoon. Stay tuned for results as they come in! 🎾

Tennis camp canceled today (7/9) due to rain. Reminder no tennis Saturday at Wards. Camp will resume next Tuesday at 9am!

We will not have tennis the next 2 Saturdays…July 4th (holiday) and July 11th (the older kids will be going to Columbus for an event)

However we will continue to have camp on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s .

We are incredibly proud of our youth participants, Michael Columbus and Zaccaria Washington, along with Coach Chris Adams, for representing Greenville CTA/NJTL at the 2026 USTA Southern Foundation Lenny Simpson NJTL Leadership Camp hosted by USTA Southern at the University of Memphis, June 11–14.

The camp was an outstanding experience filled with leadership development, tennis training, and networking opportunities. One of the highlights of the trip was Zaccaria meeting the coach from Rust College and being offered a tennis scholarship!

Congratulations to Zaccaria on this exciting achievement, and to Michael and Coach Chris for their dedication and commitment to growth both on and off the court.
We are extremely proud of our young people and all they continue to accomplish. The future is bright!

Thankful for this beautiful day! Perfect for tennis camp!
