L&B Flooring Wins Championship Saturday — AGAIN!
Bollinger and L&B Flooring Capture Back-to-Back Wednesday Night League Championships
GREENVILLE, IL — They did it again!
L&B Flooring, led by team captain Mark Bollinger, captured its second consecutive Greenville Country Club Wednesday Night Golf League Championship, completing an incredible run through the Championship Saturday playoffs on Saturday, August 29th.
After entering the playoffs as the #5 seed, L&B Flooring battled through three rounds of championship golf to once again hoist the league championship trophy. Last year, L&B Flooring entered Championship Saturday as the #8 seed and knocked off Supplied Energy to claim the title. This year, they did it again — this time as the #5 seed and with a championship run that included victories over Mick’s Auto Body, PUB 36 and their own L&B Squared teammates.
ROUND 1 — CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT
8 seed PUB 36 38, 1 seed Bradford National Bank Blue Team 34
The biggest upset of the opening round came when #8 seed PUB 36, led by Mike Nance, knocked off the regular-season champions and #1 seed Bradford National Bank Blue Team.
Mike Nance shot his best nine-hole score ever, 3 over par 39 and ended the championship hopes of the regular-season champions in the opening round.
2 seed Bailey Real Estate 48, 7 seed Bradford National Bank Red Team 24
Both Bradford Bank teams were eliminated in the opening round as Bailey Real Estate cruised to a convincing 48-24 victory over the Red Team.
Bailey Real Estate advanced to the second round with one of the most decisive victories of the day.
6 seed L&B Squared 40, 3 seed MPR 32
L&B Squared punched its ticket to the second round behind an outstanding performance from Dave Perkins, who fired a stellar 6-under-par 30.
Perkins' remarkable round helped L&B Squared knock off the #3 seed Meyer Professional Roofing and advance to the semifinals.
5 seed L&B Flooring 37, 4 seed Mick’s Auto Body 35
The closest match of the opening round went to L&B Flooring, which edged Mick’s Auto Body by just two points in a match that went right down to the wire.
The back cart of Jeremy Vonder Haar and CJ Meaker came through in a big way, collecting 23 of a possible 36 points to help L&B Flooring survive and advance.
ROUND 2 — CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT
L&B Squared 41, Bailey Real Estate 31
L&B Squared continued its impressive run into the championship match with another strong performance.
This time it was Roger Lloyd leading the way. Lloyd fired an excellent 2-under-par 34, helping L&B Squared pull away from Bailey Real Estate and earn a spot in the Championship Match.
L&B Flooring 41, PUB 36 31
L&B Flooring took care of business against PUB 36, but this time it was the front cart that carried the load.
KY Stoecklin and Mark Bollinger combined for 28 of a possible 36 points, giving L&B Flooring the advantage it needed to defeat PUB 36 and advance to the championship match.
And with that victory, the stage was set for an incredible all-L&B championship showdown:

CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
L&B Flooring 39, L&B Squared 33
In the championship match, it was the team captain who stepped up when it mattered most.
Mark Bollinger posted an impressive 1-over-par 37 to lead L&B Flooring to a 39-33 victory over their own second team, L&B Squared and secure the 2026 Greenville Country Club Wednesday Night League Championship.
The victory gives L&B Flooring back-to-back league championships, making them the first team in the league's current playoff era to successfully defend its Championship Saturday title.
Last year, L&B Flooring entered Championship Saturday as the #8 seed and shocked the field by defeating Supplied Energy for the championship.
This year, they proved that last year's title was no fluke.
L&B Flooring is officially BACK-TO-BACK Wednesday Night League Champions!
Congratulations to Captain Mark Bollinger and the entire L&B Flooring team on another outstanding Championship Saturday run.
SNOW FARMS CAPTURES CONSOLATION CHAMPIONSHIP
While the top eight teams from the regular season battled for the league championship, the teams finishing 9th through 12th competed for the 2026 Consolation Championship. Teams finishing 13th through 17th did not advance to the playoffs.
The 2026 Wednesday Night League Consolation Champions are newcomers Snow Farms.
Snow Farms opened the consolation bracket by defeating West & Company 43-29 before facing Slatton Outdoor Services in a thrilling championship match.
In the finals, Snow Farms edged Slatton Outdoor Services 37-35 in one of the closest matches possible.
Congratulations to Snow Farms on winning the 2026 Wednesday Night League Consolation Championship in their first season in the league.
