After careful consideration, the Mississippi River Marathon will not be held in 2027.

We are grateful to the runners, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and supporters who have made this event a success over the years. Your enthusiasm and dedication have helped create an event that showcased the Mississippi Delta and brought runners from across the country to our region.
We are exploring the possibility of bringing the race back in 2028 under new leadership. If you are interested in serving as Race Director or learning more about what the role entails, please email [email protected].

What an incredible Mississippi River Marathon weekend! We are so grateful for every runner, volunteer, sponsor, law enforcement officer, and community partner who helped make this event a success.
