The philosophy at our school has always been that each student attending be treated and taught as an individual. Our instructors are trained to recognize each students individual learning requirements and instruct with these factors considered. They also provide opportunity for individual
s to display their own creativity and expression. A variety of teaching styles are presented which provides our students with a chance to think for themselves. A positive attitude is upheld at our school providing our students with the absolute best environment for learning. This has branched out into our community through our Company and our Entertainers program. We perform at local senior centers, assisted living homes, fundraising events and more. This community has done so much for us, and we are always looking for new ways for our dancers to give back. Dance Company is a select group of students from our school. Whitecross and has been an Excite!-ing part of our studio for almost 30 years. The company dancers must audition for membership and are chosen for their showmanship, stage presence, technique, dance skills, comprehension, flexibility, etc. Each member must attend one combination class and one company class in order to train more extensively and rehearse for competitions and special performances. We are proud to say that the Excite! Dance Company has been the recipient of multiple local and national awards, and has been honored by dancing in Disney and on international cruise lines on multiple occasions. Each and every instructor here at MKJ has been a dancer with us from their own childhood. They are all very hard-working and well educated dancers and each of them have something special that they bring to our school.
