Weekend Recap 🥎💜💛🖤

What a solid weekend of softball!

Our team finished 5-1, and I’m incredibly proud of the way these girls competed. We did a lot of things really well, continued to improve, and took another step forward as a team. Our only loss came to the eventual tournament champions, which gave us another opportunity to learn and grow.

Most importantly, we continue to see this group getting better every time we step on the field. Their effort, resilience, and commitment to each other were on full display all weekend.

Now it’s time to enjoy the rest of the summer with our families. We’ll recharge, then get back to work, clean up a few things, and be ready to attack the fall season.

Thank you to our players, families, and supporters for another great weekend. The future is bright for this team! 💜🥎

🔥 Big News for the NC Heartbreakers Organization! 🔥

We are excited to welcome Coach Chris Sanford as our Director of Recruiting and Player Development!

With a wealth of experience in fastpitch softball, Coach Sanford brings an extensive network and a proven track record of helping athletes achieve their dreams of playing at the next level. Over the years, he has coached travel and showcase softball on the national stage while guiding players through the recruiting process with tremendous success.

His athletes have gone on to compete in some of the nation’s top conferences, including the SEC, ACC, Big South, American, Southern Conference, Colonial, Atlantic Sun, and MAAC. Most recently, Coach Sanford has helped players earn commitments to outstanding programs such as Auburn, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Charlotte, UNC Wilmington, Campbell, Virginia, UNC Greensboro, NC A&T, George Mason, and many more.

Coach Sanford’s strong relationships throughout the college softball community, combined with his passion for developing players and mentoring families, will be invaluable as we continue to grow and pursue our mission of helping athletes reach their full potential.
