Rice began her Training with The Montgomery School of Ballet, Montgomery,AL under the Direction of Gary Moore. She was also a Performing Member of The Montgomery Ballet Company. She continued Extensive Training under Marcus Alford with the Dancentre South Company in Atlanta, GA. The Atlanta Ballet Company and Sharon Caplan with CityBeat Dance & Fitness of Atlanta, GA. A student under Gus Giordano

at Dance Incorp. Chicago ( aka The Jazz Dance Chicago) in Illinois. Natasha Baron-Bowen and Suzanne Farrell with "Steps on Broadway" in New York City, NY. Luigi Faccuito of "The Luigi Jazz Centre, New York City, NY. and Extensive Training under Frank Hatchett and David Howard both with "The Broadway Dance Centre" in New York City, NY. Sonya has over 32 years of Experience in Dance and Dance Instruction. Sonya is also a Certified Fitness & Aerobics Instructor through ACE
(American Council on Exercise) and Dr. Kenneth Cooper of "The Aerobic Way". Member of IDEA ( International Dance Exercise Association) and PMA ( Pilates Method Alliance). Sonya also studied and practiced Bikram Yoga in New York's upper West Side and has attended Yoga classes and Seminars in Vinyasa Yoga throughtout New York, Illinois, Alabama and Florida. Sonya is also a CERTIFIED E-RYT200 + YOGA INSTRUCTOR through Beyond the Pose Yoga and Caroline San Juan Czubaj AND a CERTIFIED AERIAL YOGA INSTRUCTOR through Sherry Wakeford of Zen Life in Florida and Megrez Mosher of Kudzu Aerial FairHope, AL. Sonya has over 36 years of Experience in Dance, Yoga, Personal Training, Aerobics, and Pilates Instruction and over 6 years in Aerial Yoga Experience.
