The Southerlin family has been racing in the Upstate of South Carolina since the early 1970's. Justin Southerlin has only been racing approximatley 11 years on and off, yet he drives like he has been doing it a life time. Maybe that's because his heart has been with racing since birth with his dad racing from the early 70's until 2011. Justin began racing at Greenville Pickens Speedway in 2009 and

won Rookie of the Year in the Late Model Stock division. Since that year Justin has had a limited schedule due to funding and has a total of 8 top 5's and 16 top 10's in 22 races. Justin finally returned to racing in 2020 after a break from racing from starting his family of 2 sons (Landon and Carsen). Justin was able to run his first full season in the SEST Limited Late Model Series totaling 2 poles, 2 wins, and 12 top 5 finishes in 12 races finishing 2nd in the point standings. As Justin has been on and off the track he has continued his support trackside as he has such a desire for racing and can't wait for his next opportunity to be on the track. With the heart, desire and motivation it takes to become a successful driver, Southerlin hopes as he moves forward he will gain a sponsorship that will enable him to stay a part of the racing industry. Even though racing season is over for us the work doesn’t stop. We are already in preparation for the 2021 race season. With that being said we have opportunities for new partnerships/sponsorships on the car for next season.
