In September 2023, a group of young men started a flag football team with Greenville Parks, known as the DX Warriors. Under the leadership of Head Coach Rashad Brown and Team Director Markeveon Jefferson, along with coaches Darius Williams, Deverick Williams, Patrick Travis, Dylan Jones, Tyler Thomas, and Michael Hodges, these high school seniors balanced their academic responsibilities with their commitment to the team. Despite the demanding schedule, they dedicated their time and effort to prepare for the flag football season, all as a form of community service without monetary compensation.

These young men practiced tirelessly under the sun, serving not only as coaches but also as mentors and role models for the younger players. Their initiative and dedication to giving back to the community are truly commendable. It is rare to see a group of teenagers come together to make such a positive impact. Thank you, DX Warriors, for your hard work and dedication.
