Well the race season has come to an end. The head wants to keep racing, but the muscles and wallet are a little glad it has come to an end.
Circleville had some positives. Austin rode 30+, Open, and Heavyweight Vintage. Had some decent practice laps put in on the 450, but it seemed the track was changing a little and a few things were getting away. Tried to make changes but just was as comfortable as he was early on. As for the Rotax, it was still having some throttle issues like last week, but was at least slightly better. Heats went 2nd, 4th, and a 3rd on the Rotax. The adjustments to the 450 still didn't get quite there/the rider was a little off during the Mains. Took a 4th in 30+ and 3rd in Open. With still only about 60% throttle, was running in 4th on Heavy Vintage and Rotax started spitting oil. Deciding to pull off and take another DNF. Hopefully we have all kinks figured out for next year.
Jayda ran the Maddog class on the 150. For the most part everything was running good. Sliding high a little in turn 2, but had a solid heat win. During the Main, got a little high and caught the fence coming out of 2, set her behind a little bit. Finally took the lead with the white flag coming out and took the win.
Big shoutout to our Sponsors for the 2024 season and again to PBR Photography for the great photos.
And of course thanks to Rpm Promotions LLC and the great track and the great tracks they put on every year.
