Hello, I would like to Introduce you to our new Greenville Wrestling Club Head Coach. Kam Olsen.

Kam has been involved with wrestling one way or another in the last 25 years. Kam wrestled for East Kentwood High School, where he was a 3x MHSAA D1 state qualifier, 2x D1 All-state, Kam then attended Olivet College where he was a 4 year letter winner and 2year starter on the Olivet Wrestling team, NCAA D3 Regional Runner up in 2012 he also gained his bachelors degree in sports & recreation management at Olivet. After colllege Kam assistant Coached for the East Kentwood High school Varsity Wrestling team 2013-2014, and East Kentwood Youth Wrestling Coach from 2014-2016. In 2016 Kam joined the United States Marine Corps from 2016-2022. After leaving the Marine Corp, Kam and his Wife Lauren moved to greenville in 2022, to plant their roots back in West Michigan. He Currently is a financial advisor in cedar springs.

Kam enjoys time with his family, Lauren his wife and 2 children Myles and Charlee. He also enjoys Hunting, watching the Lions and MMA, sport cards, wood working, and anything outdoors.

Greenville Wrestling had a very successful season this past year. Our youth club had several state placers with multiple state champions. The High School team finished in the top 4 at the state tournament along with 3 individual state placers including a state champion!

We use the golf outing each year to contribute funds through all of the programs. If you’re able we could really use teams playing or any donations are greatly appreciated.

As the board and I workout a few minor details I wanted to give you guys an update.

We will be starting practices October 23rd.

When: Monday & Thursdays

Times:
Novice group(2 years or less. Unless told otherwise) 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Experience- (3+ years. Unless told otherwise) 7:15pm - 8:30pm

Location: Greenville High School wrestling loft

Sign ups:
You will be able to sign up first practice. If you would like to get it done and out of the way please contact me!

Season fees:
0-1 year experience: $0.00
1-2 year experience: $175.00
3+ years $225
