Layer #2 of black paint is done to prep the 6' tall rock for the Hillside Self Storage logo. The umbrella was quite helpful for shade in this hot weather! ⛱

Steps one and two of Hillside Self Storage's new sign (which qualifies as the heaviest sign I've ever painted) are almost completed. The rough surface was smoothed out as much as possible and the black background I painted makes it a lot easier to do lettering. The rock has a pretty rough surface. This will be an excellent challenge! Just one more layer of black when this one dries.
