Proud would be an understatement.

Coming into Sunday as the #4 seed, these boys had a challenge in front of them. They responded by dominating our first two games and earning a spot in the Championship Game of the PG North Carolina State Championship 13U Majors.

The championship didn’t start the way we wanted. At one point, we found ourselves down by 11 runs. A lot of teams would have folded, but not this group. They battled, competed, and refused to quit. In the final inning, we brought the go-ahead run to the plate and made them earn every out.

Did we win? No.

Did we learn, grow, and leave hungry for more? ABSOLUTELY.

This weekend wasn’t defined by a trophy. It was defined by resilience, toughness, and the belief that we can compete with anyone. Every challenge we faced pushed us to another level, and these boys continue to prove that they are willing to fight until the very last pitch.
