What an absolutely fantastic day on the water. 13 fish landed, 2 salmon, 10 togue and a once in a lifetime brook trout (4.79 lbs, 23-1/2”), weighed in at Indian Hill Trading Post. As the saying goes, it’s sometimes better to be lucky than good. We had quite the tangle when retrieving the brook trout, fortunately we were able to net the fish and deal with the tangle later. Great Birthday! Veronica gave me a break from guiding and chores. My father-in-law told me to let Veronica do all the work today, so I did, she reeled in all the fish. 5 salmon (one 21”er), 3 togue and a few others lost. Moosehead was a beautiful place to be today. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Great start to the season. #1 all equipment is running properly, #2 one togue, two salmon and three other losses with multiple strikes on a 2 hour maiden voyage. #3 a happy fisherman! Book your charter now before the schedule fills up. 🎣

We have had a cancellation for week two of bear season (arriving on September 6 and departing on September 12). This is a fully guided hunt over bait. We are looking for a party of three, lodging is provided. Give us a call if you're looking for a very personalized hunt. We only cater to three hunters per week.

Winter just doesn’t want to let go. About 2” last night and snow squalls all day. Veronica had some luck finding this shed during our hike and R***r wanted to pose for the camera. We were also fortunate enough to spot two little Kestrels during our travels.❄️🫎🐶
